I forget HOW I first came upon Tom's first solo LP "Private Revolution" a few years back but I took a chance on a copy and before side 1 had even finished playing I was emailing him asking to buy more copies for my online shop.. Those copies sold out over time and every person who bought one was blown away. Now here we are and Tom has somehow outdone himself on his new one "Petranoid Braincell".. Imagine Marc Bolan recording a solo demo cover of "Just Like Honey".. Imagine Leonard Cohen with a home studio set up, reverb pedal and a beat box.. VU 3rd LP, solo Roky, maybe even Nick Drake if he loosened up a little bit .. you get the picture. Recorded entirely by himself at home over the course of 2.5 years, Tom's new one is a potent tab of modern acid psych like no other...
